Just Do It

What are you afraid of doing?

Are there activities, goals, aspirations that get tucked away because you're too scared to try?

Tonight, I saw a bunch of women coming in to register for the Women's Cycling Clinic that is being held this weekend by a local group. Several of the women were experienced cyclists, coming to sharpen skills already in place. Some of them, however, seemed nervous, unsure if they could hang in the group they were assigned to, apprehensive, worried they might look dumb or not fit in.

.....but you know what? They're going to do it anyhow. And I am 100% positive that they will come out of this weekend feeling more confident, more excited to ride, and more sure of their own ability to pursue fitness and athletic pursuits.

Take a minute. Think about something you've always wanted to learn, to accomplish, to conquer. Ponder it.

Now, invest some of yourself in doing that thing. Even if you have to do it in stages, start.
